Tara Stephenson

Tara Stephenson is the Executive Assistant for the CEO and Senior Management team at NEBDN and supports the Board of Trustees.

Tara joined the NEBDN team in December 2016 as an Assessment and Awards Officer, supporting with both face to face written National Diploma and Post Reg exam’s and face to face OSCE’s across the country. After 3+ years in the Assessment and Awards team, Tara was promoted as Executive Assistant to CEO in February 2019, where her role varies day to day, from supporting the Board of Trustees, Projects, HR, and the culture of NEBDN. She has a real ‘get things done’ attitude and is a highly effective problem solver.

Tara says,

“No day is the same and each day is filled with new exciting experiences and opportunities. Although my role as an Executive Assistant is supporting the executive to ensure that the organisation is ‘on top form’ and nothing goes amiss, my experience and knowledge of the Dental world is constantly expanding, and I am grateful to be surrounded by 3 Execs who have a wide range of knowledge and provide training along the way. Having been with NEBDN almost 8 years, I have matured alongside the organisation and am thankful to have been part of the growth and adaptability of NEBDN, especially through Covid-19 lockdown, which has had a huge, yet very positive impact on the Dental Nursing world. NEBDN has expanded significantly in just 7+ years, so imagine where we could be in another 7?’

Tara is keen to continue creating a culture of positive mindsets within NEBDN, helping to create an environment where people work collaboratively together and cheer one another on from the sidelines. The depth of knowledge we have in our team is mind-blowing and she is excited to be part of it.
