Kitty Westwood

Kitty qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2009 with the NEBDN National Certificated. She has worked in both NHS and private practice and has completed Post-Registration qualifications in Radiography, Oral Health, Implants, CBCT scanning and Dental Impression taking.

In 2017 she began to work in Dental Nurse Education, gaining qualifications in vocational training and assessment and internal quality assurance. She continues to support the dental nurse tutoring department at Birmingham Dental Hospital. She has a keen interest in business strategy, and is currently studying for a BA Hons in Business Management as a distance learner.  She works within a family bathroom installation business in the role of director and completes business management tasks to ensure the company runs smoothly.

She is proud to work for the NHS and remain working in bank roles for both Birmingham Dental Hospital and at Russell’s Hall Hospital, where she supports parents, whose babies are admitted to the neonatal department and provides them with training to support discharge.

At the weekends she enjoy spending time with my partner, three children and two dogs.
